A perfect way to end the year is to announce that next year, the National Gallery of Scotland in Edinburgh will host a Katie exhibition and a special trail for children, in collaboration with Orchard Books. The exhibition will be shared with illustrator Catherine Rayner, and will feature original illustrations for Katie books along with sketchbooks and preliminary work. It opens on March 8th 2010 and runs until the end of May. I will be in Edinburgh in late April to run a workshop and give storytellings and it will be a huge pleasure to work once again with Linda McClelland at the gallery. It is thanks to her enthusiasm and energy, this exciting opportunity has arisen.
2010 will be Katie's "21st Birthday", and this will be a fantastic way to start celebrating!!!
